Neptune N4 Engine Head Fitting & Torque, Step by Step Part-2

Neptune N4 Engine Head Fitting & Torque Details Hello friends I am Ravi Khatkhate and today with the help of this blog post we are going to tell you how to fit the head of Ashok Leyland Neptune n4 engine in step by step,

The way of fitting the head is as follows

Before fitting the head, we have to do the head gaskit fitting, then first clean the face of the block head thoroughly, then before fitting the neptune n4 engine gaskit, apply oil to the gas kit on both sides and then fit the head gas kit by mixing the dowel of the block. Please do it.

Clean the head thoroughly, then lift the head straight on the block with the help of Hydra or crane, then make all the bolts of the head and tighten all the bolts with hands, Total 18 volts in the head. It seems to tighten all the bolts of number 19 with a fix scanner, then we have to use a torque wrench, so first we set the torque wrench. Friends, set the torque wrench to 85-NM After that, we have to start torquing from the bolt of the center, how do we know, first of all we have to tighten the two bolts of the center, after that 2 bolts of left then 2 bolts of right then 2 bolts of left and then 2 bolts of right Similarly, you have to get out while tite the bolt, how do you type the bold of the head and start bolting with which bol we told in this photo The more information you can see the photo below.

Head torque step All the bolts of the head have been hit in 85 NM, after that we have to tighten all the bolts to 90% degree in 90% – 90% degree from the center to the total of 3 steps.

First Round: – First of all, put a marker in your hands and then mark a mark on the bolt, in 90% of the way, we have to mark the tight position above the block, similarly mark the total 18 bolt of the head. And the head is also marked, but we have to go out while typing the bolt of the center as we said earlier, take a round two rounds of the engine and see, first step our end. The would now go one step on,

Second round: – Similarly, we have to tighten all the bolts of the head in 90% degree. Let us again hit the bolt and head of the head again at 90% degree. Then after that we start tightening the bolt from the center. Tight to do is to do as much as we have killed at 90% degree. If we want to get out of the head by tying the bolt from the center, then our second step is also finished. Third step – Just as we have stated in the first and second state, similarly you have to do the same in the third state, let’s rotate the engine a couple of rounds, after that we also tell the third step,

Third step: – In the same way we had just tightened the bolt of the first round and second round, similarly we have to tighten the bolt of all the heads in the third round, before marking, put a mark of 90% degree in the bolt and block. Then start tying the bolt from the center, for more information, the route above the photo is given, how to figure in the first number and how to mark in the second number and How to apply in third can see that photo

Friends, in the first round second round and third round, we have tightened all the bolts in the 90% degree head, similarly you also have to type all these bolts in 3 state. Keep in mind that first of all 85-NM once Torque is to be applied after that, 90% degree is not to take torque in 3 steps, we have to tighten the gold with our hands, friends, our head fitting is done, similarly you can also do the head fitting. .

Friends, you can do the head fitting of the Ashok Leyland Neptune engine.
